Computer Vision Systems
We human beings are aware of the external world by analyzing information obtained from a variety of sensory organs: vision organs, hearing organs, olfactory organs, gustatory organs, tactile organs, and especially we rely heavily on visual information. Computer vision has as its goal is to realize the visual perception ability of humans on a computer, but in order to do so, algorithms to efficiently process the enormous amount of visual information, together with a system that materialize information, must be built. In these conditions, we are researching algorithm building based on machine learning and pattern recognition, and implementation methods for mounting these algorithms onto embedded systems.
