Web mining system
Analyzing text data that is transmitted in real time on the Web may enable us to grasp "what's going on in the world today". And still, in order to have a computer understand the content of a text, we need "knowledge", and "intelligence" by which computer can cleverly infer and categorize meanings based on its knowledge (that is, algorithms), in the same manner as we humans.
In my research, I approach from both these sides: 1. infrastructure technology meant to acquire and represent "knowledge" and "intelligence" from the point of view of a computer; 2. Applications of these technologies in order to extract from the Web "what's going on in the real world" in real time.
