Large-scale Parallel Computing
The limits of single-processor computing have motivated us to work on parallel computing using supercomputers, such as the K computer comprising tens of thousands of processors. Efficient parallel computing in large-scale environments requires a high level of expertise for realizing successful cooperation between processors. As the number of processors increases, it becomes increasingly challenging to achieve a speedup proportionate to the number of processors. In the field of user-friendly parallel computing, I am studying software frameworks and general-purpose simulations in large-scale parallel environments.
