Design and Acceleration Techniques for Information Networks using Optical Communication Technology

Due to the fact that optical communication technology and network technology have each their own history, application forms of optical communication technology suitable for network information are not clear.
I have been researching about suitable application forms that optical packet switch networks with optical path networks of large scale with distributed control.
