Machine Learning and its Applications
Artificial intelligence has been applied to various real-world problems. Machine learning is key to modern artificial intelligence, as it enables data-driven prediction and knowledge discovery. As a researcher in machine learning, I am interested in developing models, learning algorithms, and their applications. Recently, I have been exploring the potential of combining machine learning with other mathematical approaches. For instance, natural science often uses differential equations to model natural phenomena, while engineering requires solving optimization problems to control systems and make decisions. We can address complex tasks more efficiently by integrating these mathematical approaches with machine learning. My current focus is on developing cross-cutting methods to combine those different approaches and applying them to practical problems.
