Disclosure of Admission Examination Results

If you wish to request disclosure of the results of the entrance examination for the Master's Level Section of the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, please follow the procedures below.

1. The information to be disclosed is the results of the Master's Level Entrance Examination (total score and rank by major).

2. The person who requests disclosure must be the examinee him/herself. (Requests by proxy will not be accepted.)

3. When requesting disclosure, the following three items must be submitted.
・Request Form for Disclosure
・Examination voucher
・A return envelope [a stamped envelope (size 3 long: 12 x 23.5 cm) with the applicant's name and address clearly written on it. Please affix a stamp of the amount equal to the basic fee for a letter plus the registered mail fee.].

4. The period during which requests for disclosure will be accepted is two months from the first day of the month following the date of the announcement of the results of the entrance examination for which the applicant has taken the entrance examination.
(Scores from the previous year or earlier after the period of acceptance will not be subject to disclosure. Please be aware of this.)

5. In principle, requests for disclosure should be made by mail. However, requests may be made over the counter only in case of emergency or under unavoidable circumstances. Requests are accepted over the counter from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (excluding 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.), excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and holidays.

6. Requests for disclosure by telephone or e-mail will not be accepted.

9. The score will be sent together with the submitted examination voucher by registered mail. Even if the request for disclosure is received at the counter, the disclosure method is by mail only.

Exemption from Examination Fees for Osaka University Admission Selection

Osaka University will take the following special measures to exempt examination fees for the selection of applicants for entrance examinations in order to reduce the financial burden on those affected by the large-scale disaster and to ensure opportunities for students to pursue higher education.

Disasters to which the Disaster Relief Act (Act No. 118 of 1947) applies that occurred within three years prior to the last day of the application period.

Applicants who wish to be exempted from the examination fee must submit the necessary documents at the time of application. Please do not pay the examination fee at the time of application if you wish to apply for exemption from examination fees.
