Theme

Immersive Communication

Our research aims at efficient network delivery of immersive content to smoothly connect our physical space with remote physical spaces.
Specifically, we are working on source coding/decoding techniques, channel coding/decoding techniques, and transmission/networking techniques for visual information such as multi-view videos, free viewpoint videos, 360-degree videos, and volumetric videos such as point clouds and meshes, as well as other sensory information such as audio and tactile signals.
