Computer Networking, Networked System, Programmable Data Plane

I engage in making networked systems performant for the sustainable (r)evolution of compter networks such as the Internet and mobile networks. I explore and develop networked systems to address practical issues in computer networks, by combining state-of-the-art networking devices such as programmable ASICs and smart NICs, through analytical and experimental approaches.

Specifically, I am working on two topics: one is fast and scalable name-based forwarding for real-world deployment of information-centric networking, a future Internet architecture, and the other one is a high-performance mobile core network for the Beyond 5G era.
