Protein Engineering
Material production utilizing bacteria from renewable resources is emerging as a pivotal technology for addressing environmental issues and mitigating petroleum resource depletion. The precise regulation of metabolic reactions within bacteria is imperative for efficiently producing desired compounds. My research focuses on enhancing the functionality of enzymes, pivotal proteins responsible for catalyzing metabolic reactions, and innovating new enzymatic pathways. To achieve this goal, I am leveraging cutting-edge AI technology and structural simulations in protein engineering research to develop bacteria optimized for biomanufacturing applications.
