Virtual Reality Cybernetics - Cybernetics
As immersive experiences such as virtual reality and telexistence (remote presence control) show, human consciousness and the world are connected only by information through the body. By studying interface technologies that connect sensation and movement electronically, we are elucidating the mechanisms of human perception and movement, and developing new and intuitive interface technologies that assist and extend our own bodily functions.
