Theme

Cryptography

Cryptography is a fundamental technology for information security, providing not only quantitative guarantees of security but also the capability to fundamentally solve a wide range of security challenges without relying on higher-layer countermeasures. I am engaged in research and development of next-generation security infrastructure centered around cryptographic technology. My goal is to create innovative cryptographic techniques that address the demands of the Beyond 5G and quantum computing eras, and to fundamentally resolve real-world security issues from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
Beyond academic achievements, I actively collaborate with industry, standardization organizations, and open-source communities to promote the real-world implementation of our research outcomes. Specific research topics include "lightweight and low-energy cryptography" for IoT devices, the "design of low-latency and high-speed cryptography" for Beyond 5G, and the "development of novel cryptanalysis techniques." In applied research, I also evaluate cryptographic systems currently used in society, such as those in LINE and Zoom.
