Design automation for post-CMOS devices

CMOS integrated circuits have contributed to the development of the information society. However, in recent years, CMOS integrated circuits have been approaching the limits of performance improvement. Against this backdrop, research into the development of new devices to replace CMOS (post-CMOS devices) and the design automation technology for the post-CMOS devices is thriving in order to further support the development of the information society.
I am working on the development of design automation technology that maximizes circuit performance by focusing on the specific characteristics of each post-CMOS device and performing appropriate optimization. Currently, my research primarily focuses on quantum circuits and photonic integrated circuits.
