Network Architecture, Design and Control by learning from Brain and Living Creatures, Information Network Science

Information network brought up the third revolution, after the agricultural revolution and the industrial revolution, and now it is becoming an essential social infrastructure. However, information network is still continuing its development. My research theme is about how to build a beautiful network as a whole based on a network architecture complying the requirements of the new era. To this purpose, I keep cudgeling my brains out thinking about the scientific basis of information networks, and how can networks be built up engineering-wise. Recently, I am also working into design and control methods for information network learned from living bodies and human brain. Brain and living creature have evolved not only by their adaptivity to short-term environment fluctuations, but also in the long periods, by withstanding large environmental changes.
My research agenda currently contains creating a network of such characteristics so that can repair itself without blockages, even in case of occurrence of large-scale failures, a network capable of self-growth, by autonomously complying with various requirements.
