Theme
System Optimization and modelling
My research focues on the methods of modelling and optimizing various systems to make them operate more efficiently. I deployes mainly mathematical programming and statistical approaches, especially for decision-making and optimization in under uncertainty. As an application, I am also working on real-world problems in a wide range of fields, such as energy management systems, production scheduling and also computer simulation. Focusing mainly on uncertainty, diversity and network modelling, I am aiming to applications within the engineering field.
Mathematics for evaluation
In order to evaluate activities and policies, it is necessary to look at various measures comprehensively. One of the methods to evaluate the sytem performance is DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). It is also required to extract valid information from vast amounts of data, for example in quality management and data mining. Data analysis methods that incorporates the concept of efficiency and optimization attempt to link data to problem solving.
