Theme
Dynamical Systems with large degrees of freedom
Systems which consist of many elements sometimes exhibit collective behavior with ordered structure, in spite of apparently irregular movement of individual elements. It is highly non-trivial and interesting problem that how such macroscopic apparently ordered structures emerge from microscopic chaotic dynamics. I am trying to uncover the underlying universal mechanisms and the characteristics of such collective behavior, by numerically and theoretically studying some simplified dynamical systems.
