Theme
High-Reliability Design for Cryogenic, Low-Power Circuits in Quantum Computing
The realization of large-scale quantum computers requires cryogenic optical interfaces to overcome wiring bottlenecks between room-temperature systems and qubits, along with near-threshold voltage operation for extreme energy efficiency. However, circuits operating under such conditions are highly vulnerable to soft errors—transient malfunctions caused by radiation. My research focuses on analyzing the mechanisms of soft errors in cryogenic and low-voltage environments and developing robust circuit design methodologies. By ensuring hardware reliability, I aim to establish a foundation for scalable and resilient next-generation computing systems.
