The Graduate School, founded in 2002, implemented external evaluation and self-evaluation in fiscal year 2006: together with re-checking the situation and sorting out the challenges by self-inspection of the activities and achievements of the Graduate School, we also received external evaluation by off-campus experts. Although the activities of the Graduate School received excellent evaluations, we decided to aim to further improvement of the activities by re-acknowledging the expectations to become a core education and research organization in the world.

6 years later in fiscal year 2012, we inspected and evaluated the activities during the period in between, by implementing self- and external evaluation for a second time. While providing high evaluation results, as the comments received from the external evaluation committee also pointed out some problems, the Graduate School is currently working on to reform itself.
